James Natchwey ( Rwanda, 1994 )
The most incomprehensible situation I’ve ever witnessed was in Rwanda. We don’t really know how many people died, they estimate from half milion to a milion. They were killed with very primitive weapons, claves and rocks and machetes, face to face and I saw massacres. I just do not understand how people can do that to each other. What can ispire such fear and such hate is beyond my understanding really. It’s very difficoult to get over that.
